Wow. Here it is upon us...the holiday season. This one (like every one) just snuck up on me. I always have grandiose plans every year (I usually make these plans in April or May), to deck the halls with less complaining, make all those holiday cookies for the imaginary cookie swap I'm going to have, send out all of those Christmas cards that I gave up on writing years ago (cause I became even more of a grinch when I had to sit there night after night writing them, and worse yet- I started mentally keeping track of who didn't send one to us..."well then no card for YOU next year!"). Now here I am in the same space I am every year... halls halfway decked, cards not written and cookie swap? what the hell was I thinking? You know what though?- even without doing all those things I will laugh as hard, hug as much, overindulge in joy, libations and food. Who cares about the perfectly wrapped gift in the hand made paper? So when the minutiae of this season has you stressed and frustrated-stop, laugh, (maybe have a glass of wine) and hug a loved one. It will help you to remember that this is a season of joy, celebration and yup... surrender! You can't always have everything go according to plan, so hang on and enjoy the ride! Happy Holidays and all of my and the rest of the staff of Shambhala Yoga Center's Love and blessings for a safe a joyous New Year!
Peace and Love,
Shannon

Okay this has totally happened to all of us.... you get your class card, have your schedule all planned out- and then a huge project hits at work, one or two too much fun nights out happen (which can totally mess up a great am yoga plan), and all of a sudden your class card is about to expire and you have four classes left! Shambhala is now offering a way to extend your expiration dates on your card. Just talk to the instructor BEFORE your card expires and you can extend your class card in the following ways:
Of course it still stands that if there are extenuating circumstances such as death in the family, illness or injury no fees are applied and extensions will be given. Please contact Shannon through email to ask for this type of extension.
